Just because of some one I lost a heart beat,
I lost a capable captain of my fleet;
Neither a tear, nor a grin on the face,
I have become strong for I learnt to live in solace;
Fading are the fond memories,
Moments are gone which I wanted to cherish;
May be I was not the one you were looking for,
I had a doubt but for now it’s for sure;
For me great is God and greater are the relations,
But now I pity on God’s those creations,
Who by chance have never learnt to respect those,
With whom once in life they chose to walk close;
I am still happy because you are on a high,
At least now I will not be the one who could make you cry;
I am glad you don’t remember the moments when you were low,
Because if by chance you remembered you will not have a face to show;
I still wish the luck remains with you,
Don’t even think of me for I am left with one among those very few;
Promises have been exchanged,
Heartbeats and Souls have been interchanged;
Only person I could rely on,
Only person whom I can call my own;
I am feeling a little light,
The day has started looking a little bright.
For I have poured my heart,
Leave me alone because I have understood,
Every day “ALONE” I have a new day to start.

The good thing about this poem is that you stuck to the basic idea all through. The rhythm is also maintained and so deserves a credit.
very well written. for a theme that is very common you have done a great job.
